I wasn't familiar with Decena until I was referred to them by the rehab facility my wife was in. Even though I had some other organizations in mind for providing the home care my wife would need, I elected to proceed with Decena.
I'm extremely happy we made the choice we did. The administrative staff were friendly and open. The 3 care providers assigned to us could not be better. They are knowledgeable, careful, empathetic professionals who look after my wife day and night. We count ourselves fortunate to have such good people involved with her care.

Angel has been absolutely dependable and has worked with my husband to get him walking (after two hospitalizations with Covid) and providing me with the comfort of knowing I could leave my husband in caring hands. JR Decena and his staff have been very good to work with, from the first interview on my husband’s needs to their understanding when we had to change Angel’s schedule. I am very happy and pleased with my daughters nurse. I was worried that she wouldn't get along with whoever they sent but once my daughter met her nurse, she took the time to get to know my daughter and now my daughter can't wait for her nurse to come and they seem like friends. It took alot off my shoulders cause now im not worried when I go to work. The nurse does everything for my daughter. Our nurse is basically part of the family now. She really gives me a piece of mind.

There are no words to express how marvelous both the administration, staff and care-givers have been for the past 2 months (with more help to come!) JR has ALWAYS been available to problem solve and has granted every request we have made of him to provide care-givers that match my husband's needs. Thankfully, we have the good fortune to continue with Henok providing the help and encouragement he has needed to achieve incredible success at recovery from open heart surgery. He is observant, caring, helps with everything from assisting with physical therapy, medication, food prep, travel to doctor's appointments, and more! He always arrives happy and ready to help. He engages with my husband on every topic from world affairs to sports...and more!! He has given me the ability to return to my responsibilities and continue my outside friendships without worry of leaving my husband alone. I trust him! He never fails to arrive as scheduled and on time! I could go on, and on! The billing system is also a plus! I can only continue to suggest that anyone needing home care for a family or friend, should definitely speak with the Decena family before engaging any other agency!
