MEAT LOVER'S PIZZA TOT CASSEROLE



Prep Time: 15 mins Bake Time: 30 mins Stand Time: 10 mins Total Time: 55 mins

Ingredients 1 pound bulk Italian sausage 1 pound ground beef 1 cup chopped onion 1 medium red or green bell pepper, chopped 4 cloves garlic, minced 1 15 ounce can pizza sauce* 1 8 ounce can pizza sauce* ½ 3 ounce pkg. sliced pepperoni (about 24 pepperoni slices) 2 cup shredded Italian cheese blend (8 oz.) ½ 30 ounce pkg. frozen crisp potato rounds Directions Preheat oven to 450°F. In an 4- to 6-quart Dutch oven cook the first five ingredients (through garlic) over medium until beef is browned. Drain off fat. Spoon pizza sauce over beef mixture. Top with pepperoni and half of the cheese. Top with potato nuggets. Bake, uncovered, 30 to 35 minutes or until potatoes are browned, sprinkling with the remaining cheese and a few extra pepperoni slices the last 10 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
